Unknown facts about Indian Airforce : Indian Airforce day 2022.

As this year the country is celebrating the 90 the Airforce day, it is a special occasion in itself, The organization which was built on 8th of October 1932 has completed almost a century. Every year this day is being celebrated a the National air force day every year with the same zeal and enthusiasm in order to increase the importance and significance of the day among people.
Every year National air force day is being celebrated in each and every air force department across the country by the Parade done by the Air force officer along with other defence department, not only this but The Supreme Commander of the IAF is the National Commander of the air force also contributes in many forms.
On this occasion of 90th Indian Airforce day, Following are some of the Unknown Facts on it :

• The motto of Indian Airforce is "Nabham Sparsham Deeptham" which is "Touch the Sky with Glory".
• Arjun Singh is the only Airforce officer till date who was ranked by Marshal of the Air Force by the Indian government in 2002. Which makes him the only 5 star officer from Airforce.
• Indian Air Force is categorised into five operational and two functional commands.
  In 2010, the Air Force Network (AFNET), a robust digital information grid that enabled quick and meticulous threat responses, was launched.
• The operations carried out by it are Operation Meghdoot, Operation Vijay – the invasion of Goa, Operation Cactus, and Operation Poomalai.
• It has also been involved in the United Nations peacekeeping missions.
• The Supreme Command of the Indian Armed Forces vests in the President. The responsibility for national defence rests with the Cabinet.

  Its a moment of proud for all of us as being an Indian, As this day shows how far India as a country has come , and still has a long way to go .
